This lead wire is the internal electrical conductor located within the submersible pump assembly of the PS3 1500 trash pump, connecting the motor's wiring circuit to the power supply system.
The PS3 1500 submersible pump motor relies on a color-coded wiring arrangement, with conductors including red, white, brown, green, blue, and green/yellow wires routed through the motor circuit. This lead wire supports connections between components such as the bi-metal switch, protector, heater, main coil, auxiliary coil, capacitor, and centrifugal switch as shown in the PS3 1500 electrical schematic.
Wacker Neuson service procedures require replacing any wire or cable that shows cuts, cracking, hardening, abrasive wear, or any condition where a short circuit or water leak is possible. No tape repair is permitted on damaged wiring. If continuity tests reveal a broken conductor, replacement is required.
