This lead wire is an internal wiring component located in the submersible pump assembly of the PS3 1500 trash pump, connecting electrical elements within the motor circuit. According to the PS3 1500 electrical schematic, the pump motor circuit includes a bi-metal thermal protector, heater, main coil, auxiliary coil, capacitor, and centrifugal switch, with color-coded wiring using red, white, brown, green, blue, and green/yellow conductors. The lead wire supports electrical continuity across these internal components.
Wacker Neuson service procedures require inspecting all internal wires for cuts, cracking, hardening, abrasive wear, or any condition that could allow a short circuit. Continuity testing is specified to confirm conductors are intact. If a conductor fails continuity testing or insulation is visibly compromised, replacement is required. No tape repairs are permitted on damaged wiring in this assembly.
Replacing a faulty lead wire restores proper electrical connection within the submersible pump motor, which depends on intact wiring between its coils, protector, and switching components to operate correctly.
Compatible with the following Wacker Neuson models:
- PS3 1500
- PS3 1500 (5000009118)
Genuine Wacker Neuson OEM part, sold by an authorized dealer.
