Multiquip Y0601803076 Selector Switch - OEM Replacement Part for Welders

The selector switch controls critical welding mode and current range selection on Multiquip DLW500ESA4 welder-generators, allowing operators to toggle between single mode (30-500A CC / 14-40V CV) and dual mode (30-280A CC / 14-29V CV) operation. This 3-position switch is essential for proper welder configuration and must never be switched during active welding operations to prevent contact failure.

When positioned in single mode, this selector enables full 500-amp constant current welding through A-side terminals only, with B-side terminals disabled. In dual mode, the switch allows simultaneous operation of both A and B welding terminals at reduced capacity (280A max). The switch works in conjunction with the e-Mode selector to control engine speed (1200 rpm low / 1800 rpm high) based on welding load requirements.

Critical operating note from Multiquip technical manuals: DO NOT SWITCH UNDER LOAD. Switching the selector during welding operations will cause switch contacting failure and potential equipment damage. This switch is located on the main control panel and is a key component for safe, efficient welder operation.
