The 4-stroke, overhead-valve, single-cylinder gasoline engine delivers reliable power to consolidate concrete by removing air pockets and voids, setting particles in fresh concrete in motion to reduce friction and allow gravity to displace entrapped air for proper settling.

The engine assembly is designed to mount on the BPX frame's three rubber isolators which help reduce vibration transmission to the operator.
