The starter is the critical electrical component that cranks the engine on hydraulically-driven ride-on roller screeds, enabling the power unit to fire up and deliver the 2,000 psi hydraulic pressure needed to operate the strike tube and drive systems. Without a functioning starter, the screed's Eaton hydrostatic pump cannot generate the 17 gpm flow rate required for operation, leaving your concrete finishing project at a standstill.

This OEM starter is engineered specifically for the demanding conditions of concrete screeding operations where vibration, concrete dust, and continuous duty cycles put electrical components under extreme stress. The WRS5200 Ride-On Roller Screed is a self-propelled SuperScreed expandable from 14 ft. to 52 ft., weighing up to 1,500 lbs at maximum length. The starter must reliably engage the engine that powers the hydraulic system operating at 2,000 psi, which drives both the strike tube (450 RPM maximum) and drive tube (150 RPM maximum).
