This oversized piston ring set provides a 0.25mm oversize solution for restoring compression and engine performance in worn EH12-2D engines. When standard piston rings no longer seal properly due to cylinder wear, this oversized ring set allows you to re-bore the cylinder to the next service size and restore proper piston-to-cylinder wall clearance, eliminating blow-by and oil consumption issues.

The EH12-2D engine is a 7.38 cubic inch (121 cm³) air-cooled 4-stroke gasoline engine that powers Multiquip's MT-74 series rammers, delivering 3,100 lbs of impact force at 640-680 blows per minute. These rammers use an oil bath lubrication system for the gearbox and spring cylinder, with the engine requiring separate maintenance. Oversized piston rings become necessary during major engine overhauls when cylinder wear exceeds standard tolerances, typically identified by loss of compression, excessive oil consumption, or reduced impact performance.
