According to Multiquip maintenance procedures, the spare belt holder must be reattached to the belt guard using specific hardware, and a thin coat of RTV silicone should be applied to mating surfaces during CV-joint reassembly. The guard design allows operators to access and replace failed drive belts at the job site without returning to the shop, minimizing downtime during critical concrete finishing work. Drive belts should be slid over the clutch, placed on the upper drive pulley, then pulled down onto the lower drive pulley following proper installation procedures.
