Multiquip M1000120AC5M Ballast/Transformer - OEM Replacement Part

This ballast/transformer is a critical electrical component that regulates power delivery to the four 1000-watt metal-halide lamps on Multiquip LT12 series light towers. The ballast ensures proper voltage and current control for the high-intensity metal-halide bulbs that provide 110,000 lumens capacity each, illuminating 5 to 7 acres per tower. When a ballast fails, symptoms include lamps that fail to ignite, flickering during operation, premature bulb failure, or complete loss of lighting function.

This transformer works in conjunction with the 50Hz generator system and excitation capacitor to deliver stable 230VAC power to the lamp fixtures mounted on the T-bar assembly. Proper ballast function is essential for maximizing lamp service life and maintaining consistent light output during extended operation.
