This #50 roller chain drives the hose reel mechanism on Wacker Neuson hydronic heater and surface heater units, running within the hose handling system assembly to advance and retract the hose reel during operation. The chain follows standard ANSI #50 roller chain specifications, with a 5/8-inch pitch, and is routed through the hose reel subassembly on machines equipped with integrated hose handling systems including the HHS 3004, HHS 3002, HHS 3000, HHS 2502, HHS 2202, HHS 2200, HHS 1701, and HHS 1101 configurations.
A worn or stretched roller chain in the hose reel assembly can cause uneven hose advancement, slipping, or failure of the reel to engage properly. Replacing this chain during scheduled maintenance helps keep the hose handling system operating as designed. This chain is also used in the E1100, E1250, E2200, E3000, E3000ES, E5000, and S 3000 series machines, as well as the HSH 350, HSH 650, HSH 700G, and HP252 units.
