This battery post to post cable connects the battery terminals within the battery assembly of Wacker Neuson G150, G180, and G230 generators, routing electrical current between posts to maintain a complete and reliable battery circuit. Seated in the battery and battery disconnect assemblies, this cable is part of the starting and power system that must be at peak function before cold weather start-up procedures, as outlined in the G150/G180 operator documentation.
A damaged, corroded, or failed post to post cable can interrupt current flow between battery terminals, preventing the generator from starting or causing unreliable electrical behavior during operation.
