The box-burner weldment (part number 5100048399) is the fabricated structural enclosure that houses and integrates the burner assembly at the burner cover location on Wacker Neuson HI1000 series air heaters. This welded assembly provides the physical framework around the burner unit, which on the HI1000 and HI1000DGM includes the diesel burner and its associated fuel delivery and ignition systems as referenced in the electrical schematic components.
The burner system this weldment supports is a precision-adjusted assembly requiring a high-quality combustion analyzer, smoke spot tester, manometer, and general hand tools for proper setup. Per Wacker Neuson service procedures, burner adjustments must be performed at the job site and repeated whenever operating elevation changes by more than 305 m (1,000 ft) from the last adjustment location, or before starting work at a new job site. The weldment must be in sound structural condition to maintain correct burner component alignment and safe operation across these service intervals.
The electrical system within the burner cover assembly interfaces with the control board, high limit switch, fuel sensor, emergency stop switch, thermostat, remote thermostat, and multiple fuse ratings including 8A, 5A fast blow, 5A slow blow, and a 15A time delay fuse.
