This control box mounts within the enclosure assembly of the G 25 mobile generator, housing the electrical switching and protection components that govern engine starting, shutdown, and output circuit management. As part of the enclosure assembly, the control box integrates with the generator's wiring network, connecting to the electronic control unit, relay circuits, fuses, battery, main circuit breaker, and the emergency stop system as detailed in the G 25 engine wiring schematics.
The G 25 wiring layout shows the control box serves as a grounding reference point, with dedicated ground paths routed from the enclosure box stud to the engine block and front panel door. Key protective and switching components referenced in the schematics include the 10A and 7.5A fuse circuits, shunt trip relay, glow plug relay, fuel relay, and engine output relay, all of which are coordinated through or adjacent to this enclosure-mounted control box. The lug door interlock switch also interfaces with this assembly, providing a safety interlock tied to the main circuit breaker.
Replacing this control box restores the integrity of the generator's primary electrical enclosure, keeping wiring terminations, relay mounting positions, and ground stud connections properly housed and protected against environmental exposure.
