This XL-size control box insulator mounts in the control panel and air cleaner assembly of Wacker Neuson G-series mobile generators, providing thermal and mechanical isolation between the control box and the surrounding enclosure structure. Located at the control panel interface, it protects the electronic control board and associated wiring from heat transfer and vibration that can degrade connections over time in demanding jobsite environments.
The insulator fits across the G150, G180, and G230 generator lines, including standard, cold weather, and custom variants, as well as Transport Canada-compliant Tier 4 Final mobile generator configurations. The G230 and G240 control panel houses the electronic control board, main breaker, line voltage inputs, and current transformer sensing circuits, making proper insulation of the control box housing important for stable operation of sensitive electrical components in that assembly.
