This cylinder head gasket seals the mating surface between the cylinder head and cylinder housing, preventing combustion gas leaks and maintaining compression in the engines used across Wacker Neuson pumps, vibratory plates, and walk-behind trowels. It is installed at the cylinder head assembly location, including the PG2A cylinder head and PG2A cylinder head cover interface.
A failed or worn cylinder head gasket can result in loss of compression, overheating, or coolant and oil contamination, all of which degrade engine operation. Replacement of the cylinder head gasket is required any time the cylinder head is removed for service, inspection of valves, or following overheating events that may have warped sealing surfaces.
