This DC wiring harness carries all low-voltage DC circuits across the generator control system, interconnecting the electronic control unit, starter relay, battery, shunt, fuses, hour meter, terminal strip, and associated inputs and outputs on G-series mobile generators. It occupies the DC wiring harness assembly position on the G100, G120, G150, and G180 platforms, providing the routed conductor network that links Plug 1 power and engine sender inputs, Plug 2 contact inputs, Plug 3 CANBUS connections, and Plug 4 emergency stop and contact output connections to their respective control and protection devices.
On G150 and G180 units, this harness supports the wiring architecture shown in the DC schematic, connecting control transformer outputs, the DSE 4510 controller on applicable G150 machines, the shunt trip relay, battery disconnect, and main circuit breaker lug interfaces. On G100 and G120 machines equipped with the Deep Sea controller, the harness accommodates connections to the 10A and 7.5A fuses, the 120-ohm CANBUS resistor where fitted, the fuel level sender, the lug door interlock switch, and remote start terminals. Deteriorated, corroded, or damaged DC wiring in any of these circuits can produce faults including no-start conditions, controller communication errors, and failed protection responses.
