This engine control module, mounted at the ACU/ECU electronic control unit position and within the G70 exhaust system assembly, manages engine operation and emissions control across Wacker Neuson mobile generators and compact loaders. The ECM receives and processes signals from crankshaft and camshaft position sensors, fuel system sensors, boost pressure sensors, and CAN bus communication lines to regulate fuel delivery, starting sequences, glow relay timing, and engine protection shutdowns.
When this module fails or stores active diagnostic trouble codes, the engine may exhibit conditions such as crank position sensor faults (P0337, P0336), camshaft position sensor errors (P0342, P0341), CAN bus communication failures (U0101, U0073), boost pressure faults (P0234, P0299), or starter relay circuit faults (P0615, P0616, P0617). Replacing the module restores proper ECU communication and sensor processing across these circuits.
