This exhaust bulkhead insulator mounts at the sheet metal panel and enclosure bulkhead penetration points on G150, G180, and G230 series generators, providing thermal and mechanical isolation where exhaust components pass through the generator enclosure panels. It is listed in Wacker Neuson's parts documentation under the assembly locations for the front enclosure and radiator area, fuel fill corner, and the rear and right sheet metal panels across the G150, G180, and G230 machine families.
On these mobile generator platforms, exhaust routing passes through structural enclosure panels, and the insulator at the bulkhead fitting protects the surrounding sheet metal from exhaust heat while maintaining the integrity of the enclosure opening. A degraded or missing insulator at this location can allow heat transfer to adjacent panels and enclosure surfaces, leading to paint damage, deformation, or accelerated wear of nearby components.
