This is the flange seal O-ring, size -32, used in O-ring kits and O-ring sets across a wide range of Wacker Neuson equipment, including roller O-ring sets for models such as the RD7A, RD7H, RD7He, RD7Ye, RD12A-90, RTK82-SC3, RTKX-SC3, RTL82-SC3, and RTSC3 assemblies. The O-ring provides a hydraulic flange seal at the assembly joint, preventing fluid leakage at the connection point.
Proper sealing at hydraulic flange connections is necessary to prevent fluid loss, pressure drop, and contamination ingress. When inspecting hydraulic systems on compatible machines, signs of O-ring failure include fluid weeping at flange joints, visible residue around connection points, or soft, cracked, or flattened ring material on removal. Replacing this O-ring during any hydraulic service that involves disassembly of the relevant flange connection is standard practice for maintaining a leak-free system.
