This is the fuel fill cap (part 5000171137) that seals the fuel fill port on Wacker Neuson mobile generators. It mounts at the fuel fill corner of the enclosure, including the Arctic Bear XHD enclosure panels, the G100 sheet metal assembly, the G130 sheet metal enclosure, the G150 sheet metal assembly, and the G320 fuel filler corner wall. The cap must be closed tightly after each refueling event to prevent fuel spillage, contamination, and fuel system faults during generator operation.
When refueling, the generator must be shut down before opening this cap. After adding fuel, the cap should be secured firmly and any spilled fuel cleaned up before restarting. A loose or damaged fuel fill cap can allow dirt, water, or debris to enter the tank, which may cause fuel system blockages, difficulty starting, or improper fuel injection pressure, particularly in cold weather operation where fuel contamination is a noted troubleshooting concern in Wacker Neuson service documentation.
