This low level cable assembly, part number 5000165783, is the wiring harness routed to the control panel on E3000 hydronic heaters that connects the low level sensing circuit, allowing the control system to detect when heat transfer fluid (HTF) drops below the minimum operating threshold and trigger the red "LOW LEVEL FAULT" indicator on the control panel.
When HTF falls below the minimum level, the low level shutdown device signals the control panel through this cable assembly. A fault condition requires shutting off the burner and pump switches, locating and repairing any HTF leak, restoring HTF to the minimum mark on the sight gauge, pressing the manual reset button, and restarting the burner and pumps in sequence. A damaged or failed cable assembly in this circuit can prevent the low level fault from registering, leaving the heater without proper fluid-level protection.
