This low level cutoff kit mounts in the control panel, enclosure, heater assembly, and hydronic piping assemblies of Wacker Neuson hydronic ground and surface heaters, providing automatic fluid level protection that shuts the heater down before low coolant or heating fluid conditions can cause damage to the system.
The kit works in conjunction with the Fuji PXR-4 temperature controller used across the compatible heater line. On these machines, the low temperature limit is set to 50 degrees for models including the E1100, E2200, S3000, E3000, and Pureheat. The low level cutoff function acts as a separate layer of protection, monitoring fluid levels independently of the temperature control circuit. Loss of this cutoff function can allow the heater to operate without adequate fluid, risking damage to the burner, pump, and piping components throughout the hydronic circuit.
