This lower radiator hose measures 2 inches in diameter and 14-1/2 inches in length, fitting within the radiator and bulkhead assembly on Wacker Neuson G 50, G 70, and G 85 mobile generators. Positioned at the lower radiator connection point, this hose carries coolant between the engine and the radiator to maintain proper operating temperatures across the generator's cooling circuit.
As part of the radiator and bulkhead assembly, the lower hose is subject to heat cycling, pressure fluctuations, and coolant exposure over time. Replacing a cracked, soft, collapsed, or leaking lower radiator hose restores proper coolant flow and helps prevent overheating conditions that can interrupt generator operation. When servicing the cooling system on these units, inspect the hose ends and clamps for signs of deterioration, swelling, or seepage.
