This phase switch (part number 5000153061) is the voltage selector switch located in the switch box of Wacker Neuson G150 and G180 mobile generators, controlling the phase configuration and voltage output available at the generator's receptacles and terminals. It is mounted within the switch box assembly, which also houses the main breaker and voltage selector switch box, giving operators direct control over how the generator's output is routed to connected loads.
On compatible generators, the voltage selector switch allows selection between multiple AC voltage configurations, including zig-zag, low-wye, and high-wye arrangements, producing outputs such as 120/240V, 120/208V, and 277/480V depending on switch position. Proper operation of this switch is necessary for matching generator output to the requirements of connected equipment.
