This spindle is the rotating shaft component located within the reel assembly (Reel cpl.) of Wacker Neuson E3000 hydronic surface heaters, supporting the hose reel mechanism that deploys and retracts the fluid-carrying hoses used during ground and surface heating operations.
The spindle works as the central axle of the reel assembly, bearing the rotational load of the hose reel during setup, use, and storage cycles. A worn or damaged spindle can cause uneven reel rotation, binding of the hose during deployment, or instability in the reel assembly that disrupts normal heating operations. As noted in Wacker Neuson service guidance, all repairs and adjustments must be completed by a qualified technician before returning the machine to service, and the machine should be turned off before performing any maintenance or repair work involving moving parts such as the reel assembly.
