This retaining ring, Wacker Neuson part 5000081994, secures piston and crankshaft components within the assemblies of a wide range of Wacker Neuson equipment, including floor saws, vibratory plates, and pumps. It is used at the piston assembly location on BFS 735, BFS 735A, BFS 914A, BFS 914AB, BFS 940, and BFS 940A floor saws, as well as at the A5000/160 ANSI and A5000/160 ISO piston assemblies, and at the BFS 935AB crankshaft-connecting rod assembly.
Retaining rings at piston and crankshaft locations prevent axial movement of shafts and pins during operation. Replacing a worn or damaged retaining ring at these locations helps prevent piston slap, pin migration, and accelerated bore wear. This ring fits a broad range of machine families including floor saws, vibratory plates, dewatering pumps, trash pumps, internal vibrators, trowels, rollers, and portable generators.
