This right-side insulator for the control box (ML) mounts within the distributor drive valve assembly on Wacker Neuson mobile generators, providing electrical isolation at the box stud connections inside the generator enclosure. The part is positioned in the distributor drive valve assembly across the G70, G100, G120, G130, and G150 generator models, as well as in option mounting kit configurations.
The insulator seats at the small box stud (M8) locations within the control enclosure, separating conductive components at points where fusing, relay, and shunt trip wiring converge. The distributor drive valve area on these generators carries multiple wire gauges and terminations including 10 AWG, 12 AWG, and 16 AWG conductors, along with 5A, 7.5A, and 30A fuses. Proper insulation at these junctions prevents unintended contact between live studs and the enclosure ground, which is bonded directly to the box structure.
This insulator is sold individually and fits the right-side position. If replacing both sides, confirm whether the left-side insulator is also needed, as left and right insulators are separate parts.
