This rubber shockmount isolates the engine and generator assembly from the machine frame, absorbing vibration to protect surrounding components from damage and operational faults. It installs at the engine mount location across the G-series generator line, including the G70, G100, G120, G130, and G150 engine/generator assemblies.
Inspect the shockmount regularly for cracking, deformation, or loss of resilience. A shockmount that has hardened, broken, or lost its flexibility no longer dampens vibration effectively, which can allow excessive stress to transfer to the frame and connected components. Wacker Neuson service documentation notes that fuel and hydraulic oils degrade rubber shockmounts over time, so the engine compartment should be kept clean to extend service life. When replacing one shockmount, it is advisable to replace all shockmounts at the same time to maintain consistent vibration isolation across all mounting points.
